Athens
The capital of Greece, one of the oldest cities in the world, Athens is pervaded by the spirit of Ancient Myths. A history of more than 2,500 years is evident in every crossroad: the hill of the Acropolis with the Parthenon, the nearby Roman Theatre, the Ancient Agora, the Roman Market, the remains of Byzantine Monastic life in Kessariani and Dafni Monastery, where the frescoes are as lively as they were some 1,500 years ago.
