Excursions,Cultural & Social Activities
The cultural activities are offered daily after French lessons, and are well worth trying. They are an excellent way for individuals to discover a beautiful city and region, an experience which will broaden knowledge of the French language, culture and history. Students may choose 'à la carte,' from a wide range of activities, once at the center. All entrance fees, transportation, etc. are at additional cost.
Examples of activities include:

Guided tour of Biarritz's archtecture and historical monuments

Opportunities to sample local cuisine (wine, Basque cheeses, chocolates, etc)
•
Guided tours of the sea museum, chocolate museum, and Basque traditions museum
•
Excursions to the Pyrenees mountains and travels to Basque villages, historical sites, and prehistoric caves
•
Hiking, Horseback riding, and mountain biking
•
Cooking lessons
•
Excursion to Lourdes
•
Thalassotherapy (Seawater therepy)

Water sports activities
•
Golfing, tennis, surfing
