About our program
Courses start every Monday for all levels in Nice excluding beginners who must register for specific dates. We are very flexible, and students can transfer to the Paris location during their stay, if they so choose. There are a maximum of 12 students in a class. The aim of each course is to achieve ease and fluency in the use of the language. Intensive courses focus on spoken language and conversation, as well as written language.
The methodology is based on situations described in textbooks or on accompanying audio and video cassettes. Students are asked to hold discussions, express their opinions and give their comments. Systematic oral and written exercises are used to improve grammar knowledge. Furthermore, students can benefit from the free media library after class. It includes, the use of video, language lab and exercises on computers. The media library is available at any time after the class in order to practice French. 45 minutes of media library are included during the course with the teacher.
Five levels of French study are offered: Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, and Proficiency. Each level takes about 8 weeks to complete. Before beginning a course, the student must take a written placement test followed by an interview to determine the group most suited for his/her level. The student then progresses naturally from one level to the next.
