Complete Immersion Homestudy student programs are monitored by resident regional organizers. These regional organizers gauge the progress of each student and are on call to solve the slightest personal problem that any students might have. If for any reason the student wishes to change the teaching family no reasons need be given. It is sufficient to say 'I do not feel comfortable' or ' I do not feel happy'. In this way, the family will be swiftly changed with no embarrassment on either side, as all teachers know that sometimes there can be a clash of personalities through no fault of either student or teacher.

NRCSA Center Study & Homestay
Study 20 to 30 hours per week at NRCSA Prague. Students are placed in homestays for lodging in a single room with the option of having 1 or 2 meals paid. NRCSA places our students in host families in the vicinity to minimize inconvenience and travel time. Prague's metro is the primary mode of transportation. Our facility stresses complete immersion for the student during his or her stay.
All teachers have the highest possible qualifications which ensure that they are professional, and above all trained to teach. Every single teacher holds a teaching certificate recognized by their own authorities or a University degree or equivalent accepted by the private sector.
Individual Student Accomodation - If the student so chooses, he/she may lodge for a significantly reduced rate in a furnished room in a flat or detached house with a common kitchen and bathroom (no meals). This option is only available after one month with a host family.
Hostels and hotels are definitely an option. NRCSA may also book and transport one-way if needed. Note: Prices are different depending upon the season and quality of the hotel.
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS (One-to-One) - Designed to suit the student who wishes to learn and practise as much language as possible in a short space of time, or who has a particular area he or she wishes to concentrate on. Each course is tailor-made to suit the student's requirements. The private lessons are held either in our well-equipped classroom or in the customer's home/work.
This type of lesson can be adapted according to your present level of knowledge and personal learning speed without having to take other students into consideration. Our teachers attend exclusively to the student's particular linguistic needs so that he or she can take full advantage of the lesson hour. Individual hours may supplement the standard course.
SEMI-INDIVIDUAL CLASSES - NRCSA-Prague offers our students a very competitive rate on a 2:1 student/professor ratio. Additionally, semi-individual hours may supplement the standard course. The two students in the class are naturally at the same level.

Homestudy + Activities Program
Study 15, 20 or 25 hours per week. The Homestudy + Activities Program is available for the same price as the Homestudy Program. In this program, the student receives fewer language lessons than the Homestudy Program, but the hours missed are replaced by an activities program. Activities may consist of excursions, sports or cultural activities with an adult member of the host family. The student is free to choose the activities that interest him/her in advance or may consult with the tutor about specific activities upon arrival.
The student must pay for all expenses, including all entrance fees & bus or train tickets for both him/herself and the tutor or member of the tutor's family accompanying him/her. Similarly, in the case of sports such as tennis, golf or horse riding, the student must pay for him/herself and the tutor or family member accompanying him/her.
Note: This program cannot always be guaranteed, especially if it is a late registration or if the student places restrictions on the type of family selected (children of the same age, vegetarian, non smoker, centre of town etc.). If two students are studying in the home, they must have similar language proficiency.

Admissions & Academic Credit

Students of any age can participate in the programs offered by Complete Immersion Homestudy regardless of educational background, occupation or nationality. No previous knowledge of Czech is required.
Students desiring credit for their study should contact their home school or request the NRCSA Credit Fact Sheet. Generally, U.S. universities consider 15 hours of study to be equal to 1 semester credit.

Cultural & Social Activities
Great emphasis is placed on learning as much as possible about the student so the best host family placements can be made. Very often, students can be placed in homes where one or more members of the host family has matching interests in activities such as golf, tennis, classical music, sightseeing, and other hobbies. Please register with NRCSA at least two months in advance of your intended program start date to ensure that the correct host family is selected to meet your requests.
If you are interested in taking part in structured activities with the host family (museum visits, excursions, etc.), please advise NRCSA.
