Homestay with a Panamanian family
Your window into the life of the Panamanian people - and lots of Spanish practice! We have a good selection of friendly, experienced and caring families that will make you feel right at home in Panama. Most live a 5- to 10-minute taxi ride away from the school location (bus transport is also an option but takes 3x longer). You will receive breakfast, laundry service and of course have a private room. Some homes have air conditioning but most use a ceiling fan.
The Balboa Inn a nice Bed & Breakfastl in Balboa at the foot of Ancon Hill. Conveniently located between the school and downtown.
Rooms in furnished apartments in the City of Knowledge. Ideal for student groups, a minute walk from the school. But supply is limited. Inquire before you book. $ 30-45 a night.
Miraflores guest house in same street as the school building, right in City of Knowledge. A protect still on the drawing board it will be affordable and convenient. Should open end of September if we can work out the lease. A Holiday Inn is also planned for construction in the City of Knowledge.
Recommended hotels A few hotels we like. Even nice hotels are really quite affordable in Panama city. $ 45-125 range.
