Afternoon activities: Short day jaunts include trips such as Fort Santiago, Intramuros, museum, churches, and other places that are of historical significance, eat in a restaurant, go to the market and take part in other activities that would provide students significant exposure in Filipino culture.
Trip to Corregidor Corregidor is replete with history. This activity will give the students a chance to see the place that served as the last resistance point of the Filipino and American forces fighting the Japanese during the war.
Subic trip: This trip shall provide students adventure activities and broaden the students’ cultural horizon as the students would have a glimpse of the place that used to be one of the US bases in Asia.
Trip to Villa Escudero This trip will further expose the students to Philippines’ rich heritage. The students would have the chance to taste various Philippine cuisine, and acquire further knowledge about Philippine history.
Other optional activities: We arrange 3 to 4 days trip to Sagada, Banawe and a sidetrip to Baguio city. This activity will be challenging and fun. Student will get the chance to be totally immersed with the language since he will be with Filipinos who would be talking to him all throughout the trip in Filipino. Further, the student will not only have the chance to see the traditional villages nestled in panoramic valley of terraces but he will have deeper insight on Philippine culture since Mountain Province is the home to some of the most distinctive tribal groups in the Philippines.
