Activities & Excursions - Guadalajara, Mexico

Special Activities

Cultural & Social Activities A seminar in cultural orientation is held in English each quarter to aid students in understanding the Mexican culture. Reading assignments in anthropology, Latin courtesy, Latin American culture and other related subjects are presented in round table discussions.

Excursions The school helps students arrange excursions on a regular basis. Students often enjoy weekend trips to famous beaches such as Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. Both are less than a 4 hours drive away. One day excursions may include trips to the nearby town of Tequila, home of the popular drink, or to Tonala and Tlaquepaque, home of beautiful handicrafts, as well as the famous Lake Chapala.

Sports Sports enthusiasts will have a great time in Guadalajara. Golf courses, tennis, swimming, bowling, ice skating, baseball, and health spas are all available.
